Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 38 Review and Breakdown
Hello guys, Dragon ball super Manga Chapter 38 is out. Can Toyotaro turn the ship around and delivery quality Manga chapter. Well, I guess if you’re a fan of kale.
Like if you’re a super hardcore fan of Kale, you’ll probably love this manga a chapter a lot.
If you’re not you probably won’t, so in the last manga, chapter kale was Unleashed and battled golden Frieza.
This continues the story because Goku now wants to get involved in the fight.
We pick up with Manga chapter 38 with Kale losing control of herself. Going into a rage running right through Goku and Frieza.
Kale has clearly tapped into a power that she never knew that she had before.
But, unfortunately, she is not strong enough to control it, but as a result of this kale snaps and starts attacking pretty much everyone.
The first quarter I would say of this Manga chapter is just kale going on a complete Rampage.
Like I said if you’re a fan of Kale, you’ll enjoy this but a lot of people are not going to like this Manga chapter.
Because there are things that happened here that Kale does that seem a little bit far-fetched.
Especially, if you compare it to the anime power scaling. Obviously, the two different versions of the story that manga in the anime is meant to be separate.
But I can tell you that Kal’s power is absurdly higher in this version than it was in the TV version.

I mean by a significant margin, in fact, there’s even a scene where Kayla knocks Vegeta.
Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, nearly out of the ring. But he uses the saber energy technique like the blade technique or whatever to keep himself inside.
He’s like the 80th person but I’m okay with it because it’s useful and in this case, Kale would have thrown Vegeta out.
Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 38 Kale Rampage
That would have really been something to see but that’s not all.
She also stuns Toppo into almost getting thrown out. We see Kale just go through and run through so many different people. from the different universes.
We see her literally pick up and toss characters out of the ring like children. This is the most eliminations in the quickest amount of time that we’ve ever had in the history of this manga.
As well as the history of even the anime too. This is so ridiculous.
Doctor Pepperoni and the other robots fused together to form Aniraza just like in the anime.
This Manga chapter when you see the Aniraza Fusion. This is when you know that Toyotaro is taking the story in a distinctly different direction.
At this point in the manga is vastly different than the anime. Kale one shot Aniraza and eliminate him.
I am not kidding ladies and gentleman. Kale destroys Aniraza, and if you are a fan of that two Aniraza episode from the anime.
If you expect to see more of that awesome team stuff like we saw the anime version. You are going to be let down because they’re out and when I say out.
I mean out for good. Universe 3 is deleted but that’s not all.
Kale goes on to literally bully Universe 2 like a bunch of punks, and eliminate them and guess what.?
They are targeted for termination they’re gone, not just Universe 2, but that’s truly followed by Universe 10.
Universe 10 goes bye-bye, and I should also mention Universe 4 as well. So in this Manga chapter, 2, 3, 4, and 10 are all eliminated.
Now you may be you are wondering why is this thing being rushed so quickly.?
Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 38 Eliminations
It is clear to me that Toyotaro is rushing this Manga chapter and getting all these eliminations out quickly.
He is letting kale get all the hype as well. There are a few reasons why but it all comes down to one word Broly.
Two things number 1. Toyotaro is clearly giving Kale a lot of shine in preparation for the upcoming Broly film.
Because there’s actually a line in this Manga chapter where they reference what Kales power actually is.
Cabba and Caulifla say that Kale is a legendary Saiyan, and quote a Saiyan which appears once every thousand years.
And basically start the Rampage and they get so strong that their power leads to their own destruction.
Which is pretty much Toyotaro making reference to all the way back to Dragon Ball Z in the Namekian arc.
This was when Vegeta talks about the legend of the original Super Saiyan.
Who had this unbelievable power and hadn’t been seen for a thousand years and that power wound up being too much for him.
I am fully convinced that this is going to tie into the upcoming Dragon Ball super Broly movie in the backstory of Broly.
That being said why else it’s worth are rushing this.? Although I have no confirmation that this is the case.
I am fully under the belief that Toyotaro will be done doing the tournament of power Arc by the end of 2018.
We’ll go on to write the Manga version of the Broly storyline that will be in the Dragon Ball super Broly movie.
That’s what I think is going on, so you can expect this tournament Arc to go by much faster than that Trunks arc did.
This his Manga chapter is evidence of it because we’re already getting Universal delete in one chapter.
